Apparently some critics over in the UK have been saying that 19 year-old (hey! he's legal!) Douglas Booth is too pretty to play the role of Pip in the BBC's Great Expectations miniseries, which aired over Christmas. But here at Victorian Swag, we don't discriminate against pretty boys! In fact, we thought his emotional portrayal was powerful and endearing. But, yeah, he is rather attractive! Our eyes were ga-lued to the screen the whole time! Great Expectations airs on PBS April 1st and 8th. Yippee! You can catch Douglas again later this year as the Romeo to Hailee Steinfeld's Juliet in Romeo and Juliet. And just so you know, the screenplay was written by Julian Fellowes, the man behind Downton Abbey. So you know it's going to be good! Eeee!!! O Douglas, Douglas! Wherefore art thou Douglas?
