It's Sassurday!

We love celebrating the small things in life; especially when those small things are short films featuring our favorite Fassbender.  This man will take on any project (and language) under the sun, it seems.  I have yet to see him in a role that I dislike.  He has starred alongside newcomers and favorites alike.  On January 7th, he had not one, but two films debut at the London Short Film Festival: Goldfish and Pitch Black Heist.  In Ed Sayer's Goldfish Fassy stars alongside, well, goldfish.  It could be incredibly ridiculous (a crumbling love story told from the point of view of a cantonese-speaking fish), but I have a feeling that this performance will lend itself to inescapable endearment and depth.  Hopefully we'll be able to catch the whole film sometime soon before it disappears into the obscurity that seems to swallow every decent short film effort.  For now, enjoy the opening scene!

  1. Fassy. Fassy! I love you Fassy. Let's adopt a goldfish and make a lifelong commitment to each other, Fassy.
